Program
- Project nominations begin by August 6, 2021.
- Shortlisted projects and the qualifying teams will be notified by August 13, 2021
- Qualified projects will then be required to send their video pitch between August 20-27, 2021.
- Final live project pitch and selections will be concluded by September 10, 2021.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified by September 17, 2021.
- The candidates will be allowed to showcase their projects for final judgment during the World Energy Day Conference between October 20-22, 2021.
- The project budgets must not exceed $1,000.
Requirements
To participate, you must be
- A university/college student, or recent graduates not more than 3 years after graduation;
- Under 30 years of age;
- Your team should have between 1 and 3 team members from diverse backgrounds including engineering, computer programs, marketing-related courses, etc;
- Projects will be assessed based on innovativeness, originality, social impact as well as economic viability.
